I feel more aware of the space that is available to me in any given moment. It's not about doing or creating space, it's a gentle recognition of what is possible, and making a choice to support this allowance of grace and space.

I learned how to relax more and hold space for myself, instead of numbing. I don't have to show up to be the fixer of everyone's problems. Sometimes, I can let their experience be the medicine they need.

What's included
This is a self-guided course you can take at your own pace. We suggest completing one module per week.
Through four modules, you'll learn essential skills for compassionate listening and effective communication, supported by worksheets and reflective prompts.
How it works
This module teaches you how to hold space, creating the conditions of trust and permission for others to show up in their full truth. Through cultivating presence and self-awareness, you’ll learn to become a compassionate listener and create deeper connections. By exploring your own feelings of safety and trust in relationships, you’ll gain the tools to offer others the same judgment-free space to be fully themselves. Awareness exercises will help you reflect on the dynamics of your interactions, fostering greater clarity in your relationships.
In this module, we’ll focus on honing the skills needed to become a powerful listener and space holder. You’ll learn how to listen with the intention of witnessing, rather than responding, and practice compassionate listening while managing your own internal reactions. By understanding what’s on your “side of the street” and maintaining healthy emotional boundaries, you’ll be able to support others without draining yourself. Through exercises in awareness and presence, you’ll deepen your relationships and become a more compassionate, grounded listener.
In this module, we’ll explore the common urge to fix others’ problems and discover alternatives that foster trust, validation, and space for reflection. By shifting from fixing to simply supporting—and replacing control with grief—we create a safer space for others to express themselves fully. Asking what someone truly needs and validating their feelings deepens connection. Through awareness practices, you’ll learn how to hold space for others while managing your own discomfort, allowing for more compassionate and empowering interactions.
This module is about cultivating inner knowing and creating space for both yourself and others to access wisdom through self-awareness and compassionate listening. You’ll learn to pause, listen deeply, and resist the urge to fix, all while prioritizing your own growth and healing. Through the ongoing process of learning, unlearning, and re-learning, you’ll develop the tools to hold powerful space for others by first holding space for yourself. With a focus on self-compassion and mindfulness, this module invites you to embrace continual growth and deeper awareness.
Through this course, you'll learn to:
+ You want to be a better listener
+ You feel like you’re a good listener but could use new tools to improve your skills

I personally went through a period of intense searching to reconnect with who I was and to show up for the ones I love with more presence. I wish I had been able to do this questioning and discovery in a supportive community, and so I developed this course to do just that.
