Vanessa’s 2023 Holiday Gift Guide

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I love discovering beautiful new things and supporting soulful and generous founders, so the holidays are full of creativity and joy for me (and wonderful products tied up in bows). I’m excited to share some of my favorites with you here. Don’t forget to take care of yourself this holiday season!

Xo, Vanessa

Milli Mylk Starter Kit

There are a few things more satisfying than a perfectly frothed cappuccino or matcha latte in the morning. These freeze-dried alternative milk products are in powder form, so you can get just the right consistency plus bring them on your trips with you when you’re not sure you’re going to get the alternative milks you’re looking for.

NuFACE Mini

I’m a pretty low-maintenance skincare girl, but I’m addicted to this product. It actually works and I’m not afraid to admit that I’m willing to dedicate 5-10 minutes a day to this thing for my vanity.

Brother Vellies Cloud Socks

My incredible friend Rashia is at it again. She’s using crystal technology to infuse sleep masks with tourmaline, inducing deeper and more restful sleep. Her sleep kits with a pouch are a perfect gift, but I highly recommend you get one for yourself as well.

111SKIN Cryo Depuffing Eye Mask

When I’m exhausted, there’s nothing like an eye mask to bring me back to life. All of the 111SKIN products are incredible, but I especially love the eye masks because they’re so portable and easy to use while I’m answering emails or on calls. When I have the time, I’ll use the rose gold brightening facial treatment mask too. Sometimes it’s just what I need to shift my mood from exhausted to energized!

Hibi Incense Matches

If you’re scent obsessed like me, but lugging around incense with a burner and matches is a little bit high maintenance for travel, these matches are both a match and incense in one. They are compact, high-quality, and beautifully aesthetic in a way only the Japanese can pull off.

Deiji Studios Shorts PJ Set

A dear friend gifted these to me, and they might be my favorite luxury item. If you’re into high-quality artisanal slow fashion, these pajamas are for you. They’re comfy and large, but at the same time flattering. Genius.

Fur Oil

When I’m feeling down, I have some self-care rituals that really help to lift, center, and ground me. A rigorous dry brush followed by a hot bath with my own oil blends followed by a full skincare routine and grooming rituals does just the trick. Fur Oil factors into my full grooming routine. I love it.

N.O.W. Sound Bath Speaker

Sometimes my meditation practice needs all the help it can get. I like to start my practice with these soundbath speakers that play for just a few minutes to help you drop in quickly.

The Heal Candle

I love lighting candles with beautiful scents, but I hate the toxicity of petroleum products and artificial scents. I love everything about this candle. It is soy-based and has only natural fragrances, the founder is wonderful, and the company is full of heart and generosity. It’s also really pretty on my nightstand!

Iota Supergreens Set

I’m obsessed with this brand. They were a featured brand at one of our retreats, and all the participants came away in love with the body wash and lotion. The formulations couldn’t be cleaner, and the female founder is an amazing human. All in all one of my favorite feel-good gifts.

Amanda Pearl Neon + Pearls Necklace

This brand is woman-owned and sources responsibly, a super important factor for me when it comes to jewelry. The designs are whimsical and personal, but I’m particularly obsessed with their Pearl necklaces strung on neon cord.

Madhappy French Terry Hoodie

My daughter loves these sweatshirts and they have a positive mental health message! What could be better for a gift for a teenager?

Saie Glowy Supergel

My favorite thing about this product is that works for a wide range of skin tones. I’m half Chinese and have got some solid melanin. I get really tan in the summer and so my base skin tone varies wildly over the course of the year. I love a product that will work for me both in the winter and the summer.

The Gift of Giving Back

I love to give gifts, and finding just the right thing that I know someone will enjoy fills me with tremendous joy and satisfaction. But sometimes I recognize that the person I want to gift has a ton of stuff, maybe too much. I definitely do! In that case, a gift to a charity in their honor goes a long way to reducing waste and giving meaning rather than things. Consider the causes you feel connected to and give generously this holiday season.
